What is progressive supranuclear palsy?
A
Symmetric akinetic- rigid syndrome with predominantly axial involvement
-Degenerative disease

Presentation of progressive supranuclear palsy?
A
- Gait and balance impairment (early falls)
- Tremor is infrequently seen
- Vertical gaze supranuclear palsy
- Pseudobulbar symptoms
- Retrocollis
- Continuous activity of frontalis muscle with eyes wide open
- Frontal subcortical cognitive deficits
- No response to levodopa
- Some patients may also present with parkinsonism
