Action:
1. Acts on several central neurotransmitter systems

A
Treatment or prophylaxis of nausea/vomiting for:
- Motion sickness
- Planned aeromedical evacuation
- Known allergy or C/I to Ondansetron
- Headache irrespective of nausea/vomiting
- Vertigo

List the contraindications for Prochlorperazine.
A
- Circulatory collapse (cool, pale, clammy, tachycardia, hypotension)
- CNS depression
- Previous hypersensitivity
- Patients <21
- Pregnancy

- Hypotension
- Epilepsy
- Pts affected by alcohol or on anti-depressants

- Drowsiness
- Blurred vision
- Hypotension
- Sinus tachycardia
- Skin rash
- Extrapyramidal reactions (usually the dystonic type)
