What is data lifecycle?
- Create: creator saves data they create
- store: the data is then stored here
- use: recall this data and use the data
- share: the data is made available to users
- archive: the data is then stored in a long term storage
- destroy: destruction of the data from the archived data. no remnants exist
What are PIA?
is an examination of how personally identifiable information is collected, used, shared, and maintained.
The purpose of PIA is to demonstrate that managers and systems owners have consciously incorporated privacy protections throughout the development life cycle of a system or program
What is a term of aggreement?
tells the customer what will be legally required of them if they subscribe to your service or download and use your mobile app.
What is a privacy notice?
a policy is internally focused telling employees what they may do with personal information, while a privacy notice is externally facing, telling customers, regulators and other stake holders what the organization does with personal information.
