aA network that is segmented into smaller VLANs using the Switch to segment each grouping then adding a router would enable 2 different VLANs to interact.

A series of LANs that are group together into a larger network or grouping, these are public networks though

It is when two intranets are connected that connected to a public network

A
It is the network traffic going in and out of your network.

IS the network traffic within your network
