What are Directory Services?
You can manage: users, groups, computers, printers, Folders, services. Directory service database stores all of these elements.
What are tokens?
They authenticate identities, and electronically store personal info with or without a password
What are the three types of tokens?
Connected, disconnected and contactless
What is a connected token?
Physical connection, YubiKey, FIDO, smartcard. It contains digital information that you physical item
What are disconnected tokens?
No physical connection, Authenticator app, RSA SecurerID
What are contactless token?
No physical connection, contactless payment
What is HMAC OTP?
uses a secrect key that generates a authentication code
What is a time-base oTP?
These will expirie without use, but they generate authtication code
