Administrators accounts
have full system access, need to be protected, and uses a principle of least privilege, examples are windows administrator and nix-based root user
What are Standard users?
they perform most activities, can’t perform system wide changes, security vs. convenience( principle of lease privilege)
What are guest account
only has access to isolated data and permissions on certain cases. Such as kiosks, shared computers and should be used sparingly
What are service accounts?
When a NPE (non-person) needs permission to access a database or service, they should have principle least privilege and should be managed
What is a shared account?
Create one account and is shared by mutiple people. Allows non repudiation. Security vs convenience( principle of least privilage.
