A

= Rain.

= Rain collects in ground as aquifers and in lakes, rivers and reservoirs.

How is potable water produced?

A

= find source of fresh water.
= pass water through filter beds- remove materials + suspended particles
= water is sterilised to kill microbes - uk is chlorine, ozone and ultra violet light can be used.

A

= Desalination.

= reduces levels of dissolved water.
