Cracking Flashcards

1
Q

What is the problem with long-chained hydrocarbons?

A
  • Not very flamable meaning they are not good fuels.
  • Short chained hydrocarbons are in high-demand for fuels.
  • To solve this, we can break down longer-chained hydrocarbons into smaller chained.
  • Cracking.
