fascia, inf 3-4 ribs
I: floor of intertubercular sulcus
N: thoracodorsal (C6, C7, C8)
A: extends, adducts, and med rotates humerus; raises body when
arms are extended

A

O: nuchal ligament, EOP, medial 1/3 of sup nuchal line, spinous
processes of C7-T12
I: lateral 1/3 of clavicle, acromian process, spina of scapula
N: motor– spinal accessory nerve (CN XI)
sensory: C3, C4
A: sup fibers– elevate scapula
middle fibers– retract scapula
inf fibers– depress scapula
together– rotate glenoid cavity sup

N: dorsal scapular (C5), and C3, C4
