prostate/vagina, rectum, anal canal
N: nerve to levator ani (S4), inf rectal nerve, coccygeal plexus
A: support pelvic viscera
resists increases in intra-abdominal pressure

I: greater trochanter of femur
N: nerve to obturator internus (L5,S1,S2)
A: rotates thigh laterally
