I: med and inf surfaces of med cuneiform and base of 1st

A: dorsiflexes ankle, inverts foot, supports med longitudinal arch
of foot
extensor digitorum longus
O: lat condyle of tibia, sup 3/4 of ant surface of interosseous
membrane
I: middle and distal phalanges of lateral 4 digits
N: deep fibular nerve L5, S1
A: extends lateral 4 digits, dorsiflexes ankle
fibularis tertius
O: inf 1/3 of ant surface of fibula and interosseous membrane
I: dorsum of base of 5th metatarsal
N: deep fibular nerve L5, S1
A: dorsiflexes ankle, aids in eversion of foot
fibularis longus
O: head and sup 2/3 of lat surface of fibula
I: base of 1st metatarsal and med cuneiform
N: superficial fibular nerve L5, S1, S2
A: evert foot, weakly plantar flexes ankle, supports transverse
arch of foot
fibularis brevis
O: inf 2/3 of lat surface of fibula
I: dorsal surface of tuberosity of base of 5th metatarsal
N: superficial fibular nerve L5, S1, S2
A: everts foot
