O: broad tendon from post part of iliac crest, post surface of sacrum, sacroiliac ligaments, sacral and inf lumbar spinous processes, supraspinous ligament
I: ribs b/w tubercles and angles, T and C transverse processes, mastoid process
N: post rami of spinal nerves
A: bilaterally– extend vertebral column and head
unilaterally– lateral flexion of vertebral column
