Q

What does cyanide do to the body?

A

It is potassium cyanide (KCN) and inhibits aerobic respiration and catalase
It makes hydrogen cyanide in the body which can easily dissociate into H+ and CN- ions,

Q

What do ATPase inhibitors do to the body?

A

They treat heart failed and atrial arrhythmia
They inhibit the sodium potassium pump in the cell membranes of the heart muscle cells so more calcium enters the cells to increase muscle contractions which strengthens the heart best
