Q

Photosynthesis

A

The process in plant, which produces glucose. A glucose is then used for making cell walls and proteins. For the process sunlight, water and carbon dioxide is required.

Q

How are leaves adapted for photosynthesis?

A
  • Large surface area
  • Waxy cuticle protect leaf before evaporation of water
  • Stomata control what is going in and out, so lead doesn’t waste water.
