Inhibits spinal reflexes increasing muscle mobility and reducing spasticity. Centrally acting muscle relaxant

Drowsiness, dizziness, hepatotoxicity
Cyclobenzaprine- Indications
Muscle spasm
Cyclobenzaprine- MOA
Centrally acting muscle relaxant. Potentiates Norepi, binds to serotonin receptors
Cyclobenzaprine- AE
Seizures, cardiac conduction disturbance, drowsiness. Caution in CHF, elderly
Diazepam- Indications
Sedation, Muscle spasm, anxiety, alcohol withdrawal, seizures
Diazepam- MOA
Enhances GABA effects, binds to benzodiazepine receptors
Diazepam- AE
Resp. depress, addiction, drowsiness, fatigue
Carisoprodol- Indications

Carisoprodol- MOA
Centrally acting relaxant, interrupts neuronal communication resulting in sedation and pain perception
Carisoprodol- AE
Erythema multiform, drowsiness, dizziness, angioedema, risk for abuse/ dependance
