Q

What was Hollander’s interactionist perspective ?

A

Personality is made of 3 factors:
1. Core of the performer - Values and beliefs
2. The typical response (Inherent traits are displayed to a specific situation)
3. Role related behaviours - performer adapts to a specific role when it is required
- the more the environment has an influence, the more likely the behaviour
- e.g. predicting a behaviour to avoid a red card
