What are the indications of PC1?
Cough with copious phlegm, rattling sound in the chest and throat, fullness of the chest.
Swelling and pain of the axilla, breast diseases/abscess, insufficient lactation
Headache, blurred vision, malaria, pain of the arm

He-Sea and water point of the pericardium channel.
What is a caution for PC3?
The brachial artery and veins lie deeply, just medial to this point
What are the actions of PC3?
Clears heat from the qi, nutritive and blood levels
Harmonises the stomach and intestines and stops vomiting
Activates the channel and alleviates pain
What are the indications for PC3?
Febrile disease, agitation and restlessness, dry mouth, dry tongue, coughing blood, vomiting blood
Vomiting, diarrhoea
Heart pain, palpitations
Tremor of the head, tremor of the hand and arm

What are the actions of PC4?
Invigorates blood and dispels stasis
Cools blood and stops bleeding
Calms the spirit
Moderates acute conditions
What are the indications of PC4?
Chest pain, heart pain, vomiting blood, coughing blood, nosebleed, five palms agitated
Agitation, insomnia
Chronic malaria, chronic haemorrhoids.

What are the actions of PC5?
Transforms Phlegm
Settles and calms the spirit
Descends rebellious qi and regulates the stomach
Regulates menstruation
What are the indications of PC5?
Heart pain: palpitations, oppression of the chest
Mind: mania, agitation, poor memory, sudden mania
Plumstone qi
Epigastric pain, vomiting, retching, nausea, vomiting
Aversion to wind and cold, febrile disease, malaria, red face
