check for danger are you alright no response - call for help head tilt chin lift check for breathing not breathing - remove obvious obstruction 5 rescue breaths check for pulse and signs of life no pulse - compressions 15:2 stop

check danger assess effectiveness of cough ineffective - call for help assess conciousness conscious - 5 back blows reassess still obstructed - thrusts not cleared but still concise - back blows becomes unconscious - finger sweep, assess, reduce breaths, signs of life, compressions
