how do you assess gait?
A
walk to the end of the room and back looking at symmetry smoothness and stride length can they turn with issues? stepping height pelvic tilt pain arm swing

what are the aspect of inspection?
A
front - shoulders - bulk and symmetry - quads - bulk and symmetry - knees -swelling deformity asymmetry - feet - mid foot fore foot deformity side - kyphosis and lordosis - knee joints - foot arches - toe clawing behind - shoulder muscles - spinal alignment - iliac crest alignment - gluteal muscle bulk - popliteal swellings - hind foot abnormalities

how do you assess the arms?
A
hands behind head arms out, palms down, fingers stretched turn hands over make a fist grip strength precision grip squeeze MCP joints

how do you assess legs?
A
passive movement - feel for crepitus - flexion extension, rotation patella tap inspect feet squeeze MCP joints

A
inspect - k,l,s
lateral flexion of c spine
lumbar flexion - fingers on vertebrae
