A
dorsal position - knees up, feet together, legs apart

what is the process of taking a swab?
A
introduce the speculum
take the swab from the posterior fornix or areas with obvious discharge
put the swab into the medium immediately - make sure you took the lid off when you got the equipment ready
remove speculum
cover patient
remove gloves
document
