List three ways of transportation and describe each

A
  1. Ambulatory Assistance: arms over shoulders (one or two helpers) allow for athlete to not use so much weight on extremity, walk off easier.
  2. Manual Conveyance: wheel chair/sports chair or certain amount of people create a chair with arms and carry off athlete
  3. Spine board: secure athlete to a spine board. usually done with 6-8 people. Transport athlete off with a gator.
