performer sits on the floor with feet flat against the box and legs straight.
The performer reaches forward as far as possible .
Another person will measure, using the scale or a tape measure , how far along the box the performer has reached from their feet

If the legs bend during the test. They will bet a better score.
If the performer does not warm up before the test. They will get a lower score.
Why might this test be not Valid?
If the test is a measure of the flexibility of other muscle groups, other than the hamstrings or the back muscles

The Grip Dynamometer test.
Explain the standard procedures for this test.
The grip dynamometer is held in the dominant hand.
It needs to be adjusted to fit the hand size.
There former squeezes for 5 seconds
The reading of 3attempts are recorded
The best score is used

What would affect the reliability of the test results ?
The dynamometer is not adjusted to fit the performer hand
