Furrow
A
- A narrow or trench like groove on the surface
- Wrinkle
- A linear crevice on the skin accompanied by bordering elevations.
- May appear as fine tracings in the skin which are barely visible

Fold
A
- Margin apparently formed by the doubling upon itself on a flat anatomical structure
- An elongated prominence of flesh;
- it abuts convexly against an adjacent surface;
- it is also used to describe sagging tissue between two furrows

Sulcus
A
- Used to describe a furrow, wrinkle, or grove
- it is a depression or indentation,
- a sulcus may be considered the opposite of an eminence

Eminence
A
- An elevation of the skin
- A prominence, projection, protrusion,bump or bulge
- an eminence may be described as the opposite of a sulcus.

A
- A narrow channel or depression
- An elongated depression in the surface plane of the face
- more shallow than a furrow and has no fold.
