1) distinct demarcation between nidus and reactive bone
2) Nidus is <1.5cm
3) always hot on bone scan
What is the most common location for osteoid osteoma?
Diaphysis and metaphysis of long bones; proximal femur> tibial diaphysis> posterior spine
What is the treatment for osteoid osteoma?
NSAIDs is first line
Can treat with RF ablation

M:F; 2:1
age 5-30y
