Osteofibrous dysplasia; also known as ossifying fibroma and Campanacci lesion

How does an osteofibrous dysplastic lesion present?
A
Pain, anterior or anterolateral bowing in a young (<10yo) patient; 10-30% will present with a pseudoarthrosis

What are the histiologic and radiographic characteristics of osteofibrous dysplasia?
A
Anterior cortical lesion of the tibia that leads to bowing; histologically similar to fibrous dysplasia except that it has osteoblastic rimming; most are treated with observation
