What are offloader braces for?
Correcting a valgus or varus deformity
What is the role of NSAIDs in OA?
Use early on while there is still a inflammatory process
Use during an inflammatory flare up (these do occur)
What is the evidence behind knee arthroscopy in pure OA?
Multiple PCRCT showed no benefit
How does OA present?
Deep, achy pain in the large joints and DIPs that is exascerbated by pain
Reduced ROM
Some stiffness with disuse (<30mins)
Heberden nodes

Clinically
Imaging - XR
No specific blood markers
