A

Located at the extreme north of the South Island.

Most sunny and most rainiest region of NZ. Protected by the Tasman mountains to the west and the Richmond Hills to the east.

Long sunny days and cool nights are ideal conditions for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the two most planted varieties.

A

Te large diurnal variations are ideal for the Sauvignon Blanc and other choses varieties. Pinot Noir (2) and Chardonnay (sparkling)
