Q

Muscadet AOC

A

Basic appellation, the wines are neutral, dry, high in acid and designed for youthful consumption. In order to label Muscadet as sur lie, the wines must come from one of the three sub-appellations. The wines are aged on the lees over the winter, and are bottled directly off the fine lees (without filtering) between March 1 and November 30th of the year following the harvest. The process adds complexity, and richness to the wines.
