in Autosomal Dormant Polycystic KD always remember that headache can lead to SAH due to rupture of berry aneurysm
PKD would be asymptomatic or will present with vague abdominal pain and Features of CKD..

First Calcium gluconate or IV NCL

- skeletal muscle breakdown
- release of intracellular contents into the extra-cellular space (potassium & myoglobin)
- Hyperkalaemia! treat any Hyperkalaemia in which K > 6.5mmol/L
or ANY hyperkalaemia WITH ECG changes!!
1st step : 10mL of 10% Calcium Chloride or
30mL of 10% Calcium Gluconate which is cardioprotective!
