Frequent nappy changes
nappy free periods
careful drying
emollient creams - Sudocrem - zinc oxide cream
PLUS:
- Clotrimazole/fluconazole (± topical hydrocortisone)

Avoid oral antifungals as hepatotoxic

  • describe rash
  • where else can it occur
  • Rx

Diffuse, red, shiny, rash - extends into skin folds

Can occur in seborrhoeic areas e.g. occiput

Rx same as ammonia
