Musculocutaneous injury in axilla
Weak upper limb flexion
severe weak forearm flexion
weak supination from partially flexed position (biceps)
Radial n lesion fractured humerus in radial groove
Wrist drop
no forearm extension
Median n injury in axilla
Hand of benedict no pronation no digital and wrist flexion no palmar sensation can lead to ape hand
Radial n lesion at neck of radius (deep radial n)
Wrist drop (not as severe)
ECRL & ECRB OK
Lost extension at PIP of fingers and thumb
Median n injury at wrist/carpal tunnel syndrome
Thenar eminence wasting
Lost palmar sensation
pain in forearm
Medain n injury at wrist from distal radius fracture
Thenar eminence wasting
Still has palmar sensation
Ulnar n injury in Axilla, arm, or medial epicondylar fracture
Motor and sensory loss to hand Claw hand deformity no PADs DABS no flex/extend mp ip joints cant make a fist
Erb-Duchenne paralysis
7 muscles
C5/C6 root lesion
-Waiters tip deformity
-deltoid, biceps, brachialis ,brachioradialis, supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor
Median nerve anterior interosseous syndrome
pinch sign– (cant make OK sign)
-ok skin sensation
