Pectoralis
Chest muscle for flexing arms
Ex: push ups, chest dips, chest fly
Deltoids/shoulders
Move arm and extend
Ex: one arm dumb bell row, lateral raise, shoulder press
Bicep Bracchi
Flex the arm, turn arms inward
Ex: barbell curls, chin up, banded curls, hammer curls
Tricep Brachii
Back of arms straighten or extend arms
Ex: bench press, tricep dips, dumbbell kickback
Latissimus Dorsi
Back muscle tht impacts posture and extends arms
Ex: wide grip pull ups, one arm row, pull downs
Rectus abdominis
Abs connected to pelvis for breathing
Ex: crunches, ab wheels, planks
Obliques
Side of core, to twist and rotate
Ex: ab twists, bicycle crunch, dead bug
Quads
Front of legs works to extend leg
Ex: squats, lunge, step ups, banded leg extension
Hamstring
Back of legs, extend legs
Ex: hamstring curls, kettlebell swing, Romanian deadlift
Calfs/Gastrocnemius
Back of leg
Ex: calf raise, squat, lunge, jump rope
Shins
Front of leg under knee
Ex: foot taps, ankle circles
