6 FUNCTIONS OF 355th AVIATION ENGINEER WING

1. Provides assistance to the Base Engineering Units in the maintenance, construction and development of Air Force bases and stations;
2. Assists in the construction and rehabilitation of infrastructure projects in support of the national development programs of the government;
3. Assists in disaster response to include relief, rescue and rehabilitation operations;
4. Supervises contract labor and indigenous personnel and assists in supervising by-contract construction;
5. Provides maintenance services for organic engineering, mobility and other equipment;
6. Performs other functions as directed by Higher Headquarters
