MODULE 4.05 The stages of playing / THE STAGES OF THE GAME Flashcards
How can the defined playing zones and corridors help us in training
keeping in mind that the players must be positioned around the ball.
In our playing style in FCB, the player specializes in generality that is,
in all positions. Everyone must know how to perform within all dimensions
of the playing field.
Why should all players be able to play in all areas and corridors of
the field without limiting or categorizing their potential.
- The corridors provide us with space, and we must all know how to move
within this space. All players should practice in all 4 corridors. We should be
able to interpret each players intentions when they’re located in the different corridors.
Those located in the interior corridors always have more impact than those located in the outer corridors.
- We must ensure that the players are capable of identifying new and different
functions depending on whether he/she plays in one corridor or another; whether it’s the lateral, center, left or right corridor.
Why should we not limit a player’s potential?
If the player is able to master each corridor, he/she will better understand
his/her teammate’s intentions when located in a certain area
of the playing field
