MODULE 1.03 Train-Optimize 1.3 HOW DO WE TRAIN? Flashcards

1
Q

What are the main points to consider when designing a PSS?

A

Preferential Simulating Situations are simulating situations in which

the most important aspect is that in practice elements appear

that is exactly the same as in the competition

we want to participate in.

Q

What are Simulating situations?

A

During the training sessions, game events don’t manifest in a realistic way,

since there are variables that only appear in competition.

That’s why they are considered to be simulating.

Q

What is Preferential Simulated Design?

A
  • Refers to the fact that during the competition, an action cannot be undone

in order to perform it again. Conversely, this is possible during training

  • Even though situations can be repeated in training situations the

repetitions should preferably not be identical to the previous one

Q

In the design of PSS, elements that are specific to the real game must appear.

A

If we want to perform a 1 v1 in a competition the simulating situations

have to define which elements form part of this action:

  1. The distance at which we have to go after the ball
  2. If the defender’s action is priority
  3. If we want it to be the profile as a result of the 1 on 1 action

Or if we are looking for each of the actions that can occur the small

or large elements that represent that specific action we have to simulate them.
