What is Post-Coital Bleeding?
A
Bleeding after sexual intercourse - a red flag that should make you consider cervical and other gynaecological malignancies. It is almost always abnormal except after first intercourse.

Differential Diagnoses of Post-Coital Bleeding (9).
A
- Idiopathic (50%).
- Cervical Ectropion (1/3 of Non-Idiopathic and Commoner in COCP).
- Cervical Cancer.
- Cervical Infection (Chlamydia).
- Trauma.
- Atrophic Vaginitis (commonest in post-menopausal women, prone to bleeding, mucosa is drier and thinner).
- Polyps.
- Endometrial Cancer.
- Vaginal Cancer.
