What is the special advantage about condoms?
A
They are the only method that protect against STIs.

How do male condoms work?
A
Semen collects in a reservoir at the tip end of the condom.

What material is used in condoms?
A
Latex - standard. Polyurethane - allergy.
Don’t use oil-based lubricants as it can make them tear.

How do female condoms work?
A
It is a tubular shaped condom where an inner ring sits deep in the vagina and an open outer ring just outside the vulva.

What is a diaphragm?
A
A silicone cup that fits over the cervix and prevents semen from entering the uterus. It must be kept in place for at least 6 hours after sex and used withs spermicide.
