A
Myometrial rupture - muscle layer of the uterus.

Complete vs. Incomplete Uterine Rupture.

- Complete : Serosa Ruptures with Myometrium and Contents are released into Peritoneum.
- Incomplete : Perimetrium remains intact.

Main Risk Factor of Uterine Rupture.
A
Previous C-Section : point of weakness and may rupture with excessive pressure.

Clinical Presentation of Uterine Rupture (5).

- Significant bleeding - foetus can be released into the peritoneal cavity.
- Abnormal CTG.
- Abdominal Pain.
- Ceasing of Uterine Contractions.
