A

It slowly releases Progestogen into the systemic circulation which :-

  1. Inhibits Ovulation.
  2. Thickens Cervical Mucus.
  3. Alters Endometrium and Makes it Less Accepting of Implantation.

  3. Specially Designed Device used to insert it horizontally.
