salzig: Der Fisch (das Fleisch) ist salzig.
sour: The lemon is sour.
sauer: Die Zitrone ist sauer.
sweet: the cake is sweet.
süß: Der Kuchen is süß.
greasy: The Bratwurst is greasy.
fett: Die Bratwurst ist fett.
spicy: The chili is spicy.
scharf: Das Chili ist scharf.

If you cannot eat the meat anymore, it is over salted.
Kann man das Fleisch nicht mehr essen, dann ist es versalzen.
