What does Canteiro system consists of?
It’s the process where higher quality wines are put in casks and placed near the roofs of wine storage for aprox. 18months where the heat of the sun heats the wines in more gentle way.

2 years in wood, and may not be bottled for 36 months after the final fortification.

Single vintage and a single grape.
Aged for a min. 5 years in wood plus 1 year in bottle.

Ageing requirement:
Vintage made from 100% of the named varietal.
Aged for 20 years in wood and 2 years in bottle.
