How do you produce HP air?
A
Using the hamworthy HP compressor, it splits the compression up into 4 stages, 4, 17.5, 68 and 276 using pistons with concentric plates. Inter coolers are fitted after every stage of compression to remove heat and maintain efficiency and prevent overheating

The hydrovane LP compressor uses single stage compression at 8 bar
