Positive: Unilateral Gluteal/Sacroiliac Pain = Anterior SIJ Ligament Sprain
Approximation Test (Iliac Compression)
-Lateral Surface: Contusion/Soft Tissue Compression
-Within SIJ Joint: Posterior SIJ Ligament Sprain
Erichsen Sign
-Pain: Sacroiliac
-No Pain: Iliolumbar
Sacral Thrust Test
-Positive: Pain in sacroiliac joint
Thigh Thrust Test
-Positive: Pain in SI Joint
Gaenslens Test
Positives: localized Pain in anterior thigh (tight hip flexors), radiating pain down thigh (lumbar disc involvement), pain in sacroiliac (positive test), negative (lumbosacral lesion)
Lewis Gaenslens
-Positive: Pain in sacroiliac (positive), pain in anterior thigh that is dull/achy (tight hip flexors)
Hibbs (Prone Gapping)
-Hand on medial PSIS, knee to 90, internal rotation
-Positive: Pain in SIJ (positive), Pain in illeofemoral (hip pathology)

-Bringing leg into hyperextension/prone
-Positive: Pain in SIJ (SI dysfunction), Pain in anterior thigh (tight hip flexors)
The Drop Test
-Postive: Dropping heal causes SI Pain
Cluster of Laslette
-Anterior Iliac Stretch Test, Approximation Test, Thigh Thrust Test, Sacrum Thrust Test, Drop Test, Gaenslens
Elys Test
-Prone, Foot to opposite buttock
-Positives: Upper Lumbar (Sciatic Nerve Root Irritation), Femoral radicular pain (Sciatic Nerve Root Inflammation), Difficulty d/t Hip Lesion, Extension tough d/t tight iliopsoas irritation
Patricks Test/FABER
-Lying/Supine
-Pain in SIJ (SIJ Pathology), Pain in hip (iliofemoral pathology )
Laguere’s Sign
Positive: Pain in SIJ (SI Pathology), Pain in Hip (iliofemoral pathology)
Bonnet’s Test/FAIR
-Positive: Sciatic Nerve Compression d/t Piriformis Involvement
Belt Test
-Pain: Lumbar Lesion/No Pain: Pelvic Lesion
