What is Phishing?
Phishing is the art of misleading individuals or organisations into revealing commercially and personally sensitive information. Typically achieved through fake emails.
What is Hacking?
Hacking is the exploitation of weaknesses in a computer system or network to view, create, modify, or delete files without direct access, permission, or authorisation.
What is a Trojan Horse?
A trojan horse is a facade of fake applications disguised to look like well-known programs. However, when installed onto a computer system, the hacker is granted a backdoor access to the system.
What is Interception?
Interception is when data packets on a network are intercepted by third-parties and can be altered / redirected before they reach the final destination.
What is Social Engineering?
Social engineering is the art of tricking individuals into giving commercially or personally sensitive information by claiming to be someone else.
What are Viruses?
Viruses are self-replicating infections which can spread from system to system by attaching itself to infected files which are activated when downloaded and opened.
