Why is Utility Software needed for IT Systems?
All computer systems suffer from viruses, loss of memory, decreased performance, and general data fragmentation.
What is Antivirus Software?
Antivirus software is dedicated programs utilised to locate and erase viruses on a computer system.
What are Network Firewalls?
Network firewalls manage incoming and outgoing network traffic for malicious content.
What is Data Fragmentation?
Data fragmentation is the process in which data is segregated into small chunks, and scattered across the hard drive randomly from the moving and deleting of data.
What is Data Defragmentation Software?
Data defragmentation software is specialised computer software designed to rearrange the files on a system drive so that all file fragments are together, and in the correct order.

Data compression is a process used to decrease the size of files on a system drive.
