- information about staff mustn’t be shared without permission.

- DBS procedures followed (barring list ect, can’t work until clear)
- qualifications checked referencing requests (recent employer and current employer).
- induction programme including safeguarding training (mentor, tour of building, shadowing someone and prevent training)

A
suspended or dismissed those who gain criminal record/withheld information about a criminal record or appeared or barred list. must have a DBS clearance before working.
1. settings can dismiss a person if they take part in criminal authority.
2. any employer must report any criminal activity.

- premise (rooms, corridors, words, sick bays).
- activities (risk assessment ect)
- individuals with specific needs (ADHD, disabilities)
- lone working (falling over, heart attacks)
- manual handling
- fire safety

- clear in - house procedures to follow (online info, how to complain, how settings will respond)
- documents available to complete (paper, online, anonymous, complaints box, help & support if required)
- higher organisation to be contacted in complaints ae not dealt with effectively in house (CQC).
