what is the public interest disclosure act 1998?
A
it’s where you report a colleague for the wrongdoing, the act protects the whistle-blower from potential negative treatment from the employee.

what are the reasons that you might report a colleague?
A
if a criminal offence has been committed, the health and safety of someone has been endangered, that information about above has been deliberately concealed.

what does the whistleblowing act help people to do.
A
report abuse as they have got protection. plus allows Indvidual’s to bring action in respect of victimisations, and for connected processes (safety, protection/ help the whistle blower)
