right to freedom.
what is meant by right to a fair trial?
innocent until proven guilty.
what is meant by right to marry?
you can marry who you want, can’t be forced into marriage unless you are happy to do so.
what is meant by not to be tortured or treated in an inhuman way?

what is meant as right to freedom of thought and religion?
you can follow a religion without being looked upon.
what is meant by right to respect for a private/family life?
you don’t need share personal information if you don’t wish too.
what is meant by a right to not be punished for something which wasn’t against the law when you did it?
if a law has been put in place but you have done it before the law was official then you can’t be punished.
eg: 2015 law of not being able to smoke in a car with under 18’s in the car.
what is meant by the right to be free from slavery?
you can’t be made a slavery - can’t be paid less than minimum wage.
what is meant by right to freedom of expression?
not being looked upon from the protected characteristics (equality act 2010).
