When ON, overrides normal Controls and illuminates the following lights to max brightness:
- All illuminated indicator lights

How many landing lights are there on the B777, where are they located and what is the purpose for each one of them?
There are 4 landing lights, Two on the nose wheel and one in each wing root. The nose gear ones are optimized for approach and the wing ones are optimized for flare and landing.
Are the taxi lights moving to “see into a turn” when the aircrafts nose wheel is turning?
No it’s mounted on the non-steerable part of the nose gear.
How many beacon lights are there on the B777 and where are they located?
There are two. One on the top of the fuselage and one on the bottom.
How many flashes/min are there for the beacon lights?

How many strobe lights are there on the B777 and where are they located?
There are three. One in each wing tip and one on the tailcone

There are two per station
How many navigation/position lights have to be operational for dispatch?
At least one light per station has to be operational for dispatch. There is also 2 white position light bulbs at the rear of the tail cone, 0 is required for dispatch.
When will the emergency lights be turned on, and for how long will they last?
Whenever the DC electrical system is off line the emergency lights are automatically turned ON. Power for the emergency lights comes from dedicated batteries that are kept charged by the normal electrical system, transforming AC to DC power. Fully charged batteries will give about 15 min of emergency light. The lights can be activated both from the cockpit and from the cabin.

What happens to the cabin lights near the flight deck door when the door is opened?
The dim or extinguish to reduce light level in the cockpit at night.
