Connect: liver to duodenum
Contain: portal triad
Pringle maneuver: can be compressed to control bleeding.
Connects greater and lesser sac
Gastrohepatic
Connect:liver to lesser curvature of stomach
Contain: gastric arteries
Separates greater and lesser sacs on the right. (vs. gastrosplenic)
May be cut to access lesser sac
Gastrocolic
Connect: greater curvature to transverse colon
Contain: gastroepiploic arteries
Parts of greater omentum
Gastrosplenic
Connect: greater curvature and spleen
Contain: short gastrics, left gastroepiploic vessels
Separates greater and lesser sacs on the left (vs. gastohepatic)
Splenorenal
Connect: spleen to posterior abd wall
Contain: splenic artery and vein, tail of pancreas
